Description

Blend: 50% Sangiovese, 50% Sagrantino. Impenetrable ruby red colour. An intense, persistent wine with notes of ripe red fruit (plum, cherry) and hints of liquorice, smoke and toast from ageing in wood. Full and soft on the palate, with firm tannins that give it ample scope for bottle ageing. It pairs with Umbrian tradition: hare, wild boar and aged cheeses.
